We are seeking an ambitious and innovative leader to join our team as a Department Manager. This is a full-time role that requires flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
The successful candidate will lead the department, ensuring the highest levels of quality, service, and cleanliness. They will also be responsible for training, developing, and driving the team to deliver excellent customer experiences. Other key responsibilities include hiring new team members, onboarding them, managing staff performance reviews, and resolving any staff issues that may arise.
In addition, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard, ordering stock, and completing weekly stock takes. They will also continuously bring forth new ideas to increase sales and standards of the department. Furthermore, they will create a positive working environment within the team, motivate and monitor the team to ensure they are fully competent in their roles, and take overall responsibility for the operational running of the department, including duties such as cash handling and implementing company policies.
Achieving all KPIs and targets set by management will also be a key expectation. The candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, with experience in leading, motivating, and developing a team. They should also have strong knowledge of HACCP hygiene systems and food safety, as well as great attention to detail and integrity. At least two years of experience in a managerial position is required.
