Technical Support Engineer - French speaking
Join Salesforce as a Technical Support Engineer – French speaking. This role supports customers using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, troubleshooting complex issues and guiding users to success. Located in Dublin, Ireland as part of the Cloud Success Group.
What You'll Do
* Lead investigations and resolution of complex support issues related to SFMC functionalities, integrations, APIs, and overall platform performance.
* Utilize web development concepts to read, analyze, and understand customer code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL) to pinpoint root causes.
* Communicate clear, professional, and timely solutions, offering best‑practice guidance to customers.
* Manage the full issue lifecycle from initial contact through resolution, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
* Create and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and solution guides.
What You'll Bring
* Technical Troubleshooting Experience – proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues within an enterprise SaaS or integrated system environment.
* Core Technical Acumen – solid ability to read and understand code and technical structures, including:
o SQL – intermediate‑level queries for data retrieval, analysis, and diagnostics.
o JavaScript (or similar scripting/object‑oriented language), HTML & CSS.
o Familiarity with web services, including REST/SOAP APIs.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, articulating complex technical findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Customer Focus – experience in a customer‑facing role with a strong commitment to problem resolution and service excellence.
Mandatory Language Requirement
* Fluent (written and spoken) in French and English.
Desired Skills (A Plus, But Not Required)
* Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other enterprise marketing automation platforms.
* Familiarity with proprietary scripting languages such as AMPScript or Server‑Side JavaScript.
* Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Developer).
