HEAD OF BRAND PARTNERS – DRY GROCERY

We are currently seeking a Head of Brand Partners working within the Dry Grocery division. This role is responsible for the attraction, onboarding and ongoing management of Partner Brands. This role will report directly into the Dry Grocery Category Director of Valeo Foods Ireland.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role
* Ensure that partner brands get strong representation across Valeo Foods customers and play a full part in overall category initiatives.
* Manage the relationships with the Partner Brand companies to ensure that they are satisfied with their relationship with Valeo Foods Ireland.
* Work with the Commercial Development Director to target and attract key brands into Valeo Foods & complete contractual discussions.
* Development of Customer Joint Business Plans (JBPs) for brand partner brands and facilitate the cascading of Key actions to Customer Business Managers.
* Negotiate pricing on product portfolios.
* Drive sales performance and growth against challenging sales targets, highlighting risks and gaps and closing same within budget.
* Line management of the partner brand management team (3 people).
* Coordinate sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes.
* Work with finance, operations etc. to ensure corporate sales compliance.
Key skills
* Extremely strong relationship management skills and an ability to manage multiple relationships.
* A persuasive influencer with strong risk assessment capabilities and extensive experience in working across multiple brands with multiple brand owners.
* Excellent communicator able to produce data driven, as well as intuitive based recommendations for business improvement.
* In-depth knowledge of the partner brand environment and Irish ambient grocery playing field.
* Grasps the essence of new information; recognises own strengths and weaknesses; pursues self-development; seeks feedback.
