Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing
The role of Assistant Director of Nursing is a senior clinical position that reports to the Director of Nursing. This position is responsible for leading nursing staff at all levels, providing professional advice, and contributing to the development and implementation of nursing policy and strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
* Providing professional leadership to nursing staff
* Contributing to the development and implementation of nursing policy and strategy
* Proactively developing nursing roles in accordance with patient needs
Essential Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse with full NMBI registration
* Level 8 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications in Health or management related field
* Postgraduate diploma in gerontology (preferable)
* A minimum of 7 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting
* Minimum of 4 years management experience at CNM II level or above in an acute hospital setting
