Area ManagerWeir ESCOWingfield We are seeking a proactive and customer‑focused Area Manager to act as ESCO's key presence across major customer sites. We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.Key Responsibilities:Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Deliver product support by training customers on installation, maintenance, and safe operation to maximise ESCO component performance.Monitor and report on equipment, bucket, lip, and GET performance to maintain market share, defend ESCO value, and guide customer maintenance planning.Collect, analyse, and maintain accurate machine and equipment data (wear life, usage, maps, maintenance schedules) in ESCO systems, including the Equipment Database.Act as the primary on‑site ESCO representative, building strong customer relationships and resolving product, service, and warranty issues promptly.Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, including competitive conversions and additional product or service offerings.Conduct inspections, gauging, and condition monitoring, generating clear internal and customer-facing reports to support decision-making and reduce machine downtime.Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support, collaborating with Product Managers and the wider sales team to address GET and bucket performance issues.Support continuous improvement and business processes by contributing insights on competitor activity, participating in BR&P cycles, and maintaining accurate CRM and forecasting recordsJob Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent technical experience gained through industry practice.Minimum 5 years' experience in the mining industry, with strong technical understanding and hands‑on exposure to related equipment and operations.
