The Role
We are recruiting for a Assistant Club Manager for a new gym that opened in Tullamore and is still in its infancy. Snap Fitness is a global company with over 106 clubs in the UK & Ireland and over 2000 clubs worldwide. This role offers excellent opportunities for industry and personal growth.
Snap Fitness are now seeking a dynamic, passionate, and motivated individual who will assist in the management of day-to-day operations of a busy Fitness Club. You will be responsible for assisting the Club Manager in the general running of all aspects of the club with specific emphasis on the sale of new memberships, ensuring all members are having a great experience, management of staff and contractors plus health and safety requirements.
This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career into higher management and someone who is looking for a challenge. A strong commercial and sales background is essential and knowledge of the fitness industry. Daily and monthly membership targets will be set to aid the success of the club.
Responsibilities
* Daily sales Management - driving sales through local community and corporate outreach
* Assist in Marketing Management to drive membership growth
* Assist in Management of Personal Trainers and Group Class Instructors
* Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Manage inventory levels, merchandising displays, and product promotions to maximise sales opportunities.
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
* Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive work environment.
* Implement time management strategies to enhance productivity within the team.
* Conduct administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining records accurately.
* Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when interacting with customers and suppliers.
* Maintaining gym standards (cleanliness, maintenance, OH&S etc)
* Social media and club management reporting
Qualifications
* Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within a sales environment.
* Level 2 Gym Instructor Certification (preferable)
* First Aid Certificate
* Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* A proven ability to hit targets
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
* Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are advantageous for enhancing customer interactions.
* Proficient in merchandising techniques and retail strategies to drive sales performance.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated time management skills to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
