Vacancy: Merchandiser
Location: Leinster, Greater Dublin
We have a new opportunity for an creative Merchandiser to join the UK's largest branded, consumer and professional Horticulture Business. This role is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a fast moving, entrepreneurial business working within an exciting industry.
Working for the leading supplier and manufacturer this role is focused around increasing brand awareness, event and display execution to increase turnover and market share.
The right candidate will be energetic, pro-active with a real flair for building long-term customer relationships and show resilience, drive and commitment to achieving KPI's. A drive for progression within the business is critical to long-term success.
Main Duties:
* To support the Territory Managers in their accounts
* To set up seed stands & stock where required, manage seed returns process in store
* Manage growing media set ups with use stock positioning & branded POS.
* Manage fertiliser & chemical set up in store, through use of stock positioning and branded POS
* Manage bird care set ups in store, through use of stock positioning & branded POS
* Manage hardware set ups in store, through use of stock positioning & branded POS
* Above all else to drive good use of POS, effective merchandising across all Westland categories.
* Deliver in store training to customers on our product ranges and brands to drive mutual retailer growth.
The Person:
We're looking for driven, hardworking and ambitious individuals with the ability to establish good working relationships with people at all levels of the business. Applicants should also possess:
* Garden centre or 1 years retail merchandising experience
* A strong desire to sell in an FMCG business
* Strong interpersonal skills
* A strong ambition to succeed
* Willingness to travel and work in a large geographical area
* A Full Driving Licence – essential
