1st year/2nd year/3rd year apprentice mechanic
As an Apprentice Mechanic, you will be involved in a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to become a proficient automotive technician. Under the guidance of experienced mechanics, you will learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of vehicles. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic automotive repair environment as well manufacturer face to face training.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning and Development:
* Participate actively in training sessions and on-the-job learning opportunities.
* Acquire knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical components.
* Understand the proper usage of diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Familiarize yourself with industry-standard repair procedures and techniques.
Assistance in Repair and Maintenance:
* Assist senior mechanics in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs.
* Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
* Observe and learn to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems efficiently.
* Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Safety and Compliance:
* Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop.
* Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and disposing of waste.
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to automotive repair activities.
