Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing company in Cork is looking for a General Operative/forklift driver to join their team a on a full time basis in Watergrasshill
Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials
2. Load and unload trucks, containers, and shelves efficiently
3. Conduct routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure its proper functioning
4. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations
5. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Hours of Work
6. Mon- Fri
7. 8am- 5pm
Requirements for the successful Forklift Driver:
8. Must have previous experience of operating a Forklift is an advantage but not essential ( Reach & Counter balance )
9. Have a good appreciation for Health and Safety
10. Good communication skills and good understanding of English
11. Have a willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team
12. Possess a can do attitude
13. Valid Manual Handling Cert
