Minimum qualifications:
1. Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 3 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or a relevant PhD degree.
Preferred qualifications:
1. 2 years of experience delivering insights from ML to customers (problem scoping/definition, modeling, interpretation).
2. 2 years of experience using or deploying digital analytics and measurement solutions.
3. Understanding of the statistical algorithms typically used in Marketing Analytics.
4. Proficiency in Computer Vision and NLP in the context of marketing analytics and the ability to bring generative AI technologies to customer issues in marketing.

In this role, you will help measure and optimize marketing Return on Investment (ROI) for Google’s largest clients by building models addressing key business issues. You will learn and apply innovative technologies to real-world client needs.
Responsibilities
1. Lead data science aspects of client engagements in marketing effectiveness and portfolio management, utilizing ML and statistical expertise.
2. Collaborate with clients to understand issues, select appropriate statistical techniques, and develop modeling frameworks.
3. Assess data and model readiness with stakeholders and scale proofs-of-concept into large solutions.
4. Translate data and model results into actionable insights for decision-making and assist in integrating recommendations into business processes.
5. Work with Product and Engineering teams to enhance capabilities of our Applied Data Science team, fostering scalable and innovative solutions.
