This role is about bringing the heart of Ella & Jo to life across every platform and on an international scale.You'll be the voice of our brand online, crafting scroll-stopping content, nurturing our vibrant community, and helping shape how thousands of women connect with Ella & Jo every day across Ireland, the UK, and beyond.Working closely with the Creative Director and wider marketing team, you'll plan, brief, and deliver content that inspires, educates, and celebrates the women who make up our community across Meta, TikTok, live shopping platforms, and beyond.This is a hands-on, manager-level role with ownership of Ella & Jo's organic social presence across all markets. You'll act as the key social media partner to the Creative Director, contributing creatively and strategically to how the brand shows up every day.This role will also involve travel for shoots, events, and content days, so a love of variety (and a well-packed overnight bag) is essential.What Success Looks Like in This RoleGrowing and engaging Ella & Jo's social community across key platformsDelivering strong, consistent organic social support for product launches and key trading momentsCreating high-performing, on-brand content that balances creativity with commercial impactContinuously evolving content formats, cadence, and platform strategy through testing and insightsKey ResponsibilitiesContent Planning & StrategyCollaborate with the Creative Director and wider marketing team to align social media plans with launches, campaigns, and key brand momentsEnsure social content supports wider marketing objectives, including key trading periods and brand campaignsDevelop monthly content calendars that reflect brand pillars and business goalsMaintain a consistent tone of voice and visual identity that is warm, confident, and unmistakably Ella & JoBring fresh ideas, new formats, and positive energy to the tableContent Creation & CoordinationCombine hands-on content creation with coordination of creators and collaboratorsBrief and manage internal and external creators to deliver engaging, high-quality contentCreate, edit, and publish posts, stories, and reels across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platformsRepurpose content strategically to maximise reach and consistencyPlan and support content days with the co-founders, capturing the real, joyful essence of the brandTravel to events, photoshoots, and content days across Ireland and the UK as requiredSocial Media ManagementOwn the day-to-day management of all organic social channelsBe the friendly, authentic voice of Ella & Jo, engaging with our community across comments and messagesMonitor trends and platform performance to continually optimise content and approachCampaign ExecutionSupport the rollout of influencer, paid, and brand campaigns, ensuring organic social execution aligns with campaign objectivesCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure messaging is cohesive, timely, and impactfulInsights & OptimisationAnalyse performance and turn insights into clear, actionable recommendationsUse data to refine content strategy, posting cadence, and platform focusShare learnings and creative recommendations to continually evolve our social presenceWhat You'll Bring3+ years' experience in social media, content, or marketing (ideally within beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands)Strong understanding of social platforms (including TikTok), analytics, and emerging trendsExcellent copywriting skills with a natural ability to connect emotionallyConfidence using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similarA creative eye, strong attention to detail, and an organised, proactive mindsetAbility to balance creativity with structure, deadlines, and commercial prioritiesA genuine love for beauty, storytelling, and communityFull driving licence and valid passport (travel is part of the fun in this role)DesirableExperience working with influencers or creatorsUnderstanding of paid social and boosting strategiesConfidence on camera, happy to create behind-the-scenes or on-screen contentLocation & Working StyleThis is a full-time, permanent role. The ideal candidate will be based in or near Ballina, Co. Mayo.
