Join PwC Ireland as a Manager in the Government & Public Sector Consulting practice, helping to reimagine public services and deliver better outcomes for citizens. You will deliver technology‑enabled transformations, build public trust, and drive lasting improvements across the public sector. Bring deep knowledge of Ireland’s public sector and political context, stakeholder leadership, and a proven record of successful delivery in complex, matrixed environments, & support business growth.
Responsibilities
* Lead, deliver and support large‑scale transformation programmes across government and public sector clients.
* Support sector and account growth within G&PS go‑to‑market strategies, including the identification of new opportunities and shaping proposals.
* Support the development and implementation of future‑state operating models, organisational structures, and workforce strategies.
* Apply project management and change management methodologies to support transformation initiatives.
* Collaborate with clients to co‑create solutions that address complex organisational challenges.
* Collaboratively work with diverse teams and stakeholders to deliver complex problems with a key focus on benefits realisation and sustained value creation.
* Anticipate stakeholder needs, developing and discussing potential solutions pre‑emptively.
* Facilitate stakeholder engagement and manage relationships at senior levels.
* Ensure delivery of high‑quality outputs aligned to client expectations and project goals.
Your Profile
* A recognised university degree with 5+ years’ experience in management consulting or public sector roles, particularly in the transport, education, housing, defence sectors or wider government.
* A track record in business development and client relationship management with strong commercial acumen and an ability to identify and convert business development opportunities.
* Deep understanding of one or more of the following capabilities: operating model design, public sector procurement, transformation delivery, programme management, change management.
* Knowledge of the challenges facing Irish government and public sector organisations.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience navigating political and operational complexities.
