Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Person Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will work with individuals in their own homes, providing personalized support to enable them to live a meaningful life of their choosing.
The role involves building positive relationships with individuals and their families, supporting them to make choices and achieve their goals. As a Person Support Worker, you will be required to work flexibly, including day, weekend, sleepover and waking night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting individuals to live a meaningful life
* Working with vulnerable or marginalized people in a range of settings
* Awareness/knowledge of intellectual disability, autism and/or social care sector
* High level of proficiency in spoken and written English
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills
Requirements:
* Health & Social Care Qualification at QQI 5 or related field
* Experience working with individuals with disabilities
* High level of IT skills
