Job Description:
The DeltaV Technical Lead will oversee and coordinate all technical activities related to the Emerson Distributed Control System (DCS) Hardware and Software delivery.
* Manage and coordinate technical activities for the DCS Hardware and Software delivery.
* Ensure compliant, reliable, and efficient automation of pharmaceutical API manufacturing processes.
* Support the implementation of the DeltaV Software Delivery through Agile methodology.
* Liaise with multiple cross-functional Agile teams on a day-to-day basis to manage progress and remove roadblocks.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Coordination:
* Coordinate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and System Integrators to plan every sprint.
* Manage Technical Queries Logs and updates.
* Manage escalations to Workstream Leads and Project Managers as required.
* Coordinate software delivery to meet site deadlines.
Schedule Adherence and Delay Mitigation:
* Maintain schedule adherence and mitigate any delays.
Validation, Regulatory Compliance, and Continuous Improvement:
* Support validation, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives critical to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related technical field.
* Extensive experience with Emerson DCS in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
* Experience with system validation lifecycle (IQ/OQ/PQ) and documentation practices.
* Proficiency with DCS software tools.
* Familiarity with industrial networking, cybersecurity, and protocols relevant to pharma automation.
* Excellent communication, documentation, and project coordination skills.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
