CES are an established Engineering Service Provider working primarily within the Irish Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Device sectors. Our expanding projects team require an Intermediate level HVAC Project Engineer to support a growing project portfolio. The role will involve elements of HVAC design, pricing, procurement, technical report writing, site based project management, C&Q management and turnover management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating and project managing turnkey projects from design phase right through to installation and handover.

Duties
Duties include but are not to limited to:
* Technical report writing
* HVAC Design
* Generation of HVAC P&ID’s, schematics, 2D layouts and 3D isometric drawings
* Generation of HVAC equipment schedules
* Management & co-ordination of subcontractors
* Management of all H&S requirements for each project.
* Attendance at daily project meetings, whiteboard meetings
* Detailed site surveys of HVAC & Utility systems
* Redlining/As-building of HVAC & Utility drawings
* Commissioning & commissioning management.
* Generation of commissioning / C&Q protocols
* Punchlist management & closeout
* Troubleshooting
* Generation of Project Turnover Packs
* Management of equipment procurement and expediting.
* Ensure all design, installation and commissioning deliverables are met as per schedule.
Education/Experience
* A minimum 5-years experience in project engineering in a regulated GMP facilities.
* Experience in working within a live manufacturing facility.
* Must be technically sound, with the ability to read and understand P&IDs, Schematics, layout drawings and technical specifications.
* Experienced in scheduling.
* Experienced in HVAC/Utilities/M&E systems/Process Systems
* Experienced in vendor and contractor management.
* Ability to work to deadlines and deliver projects within limited time frames.
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related sciences
* Must have a proven track record in project engineering in Pharma/Bio-Pharma/Biotech sector.
* Experience in GMP Commissioning & Qualification.
* Experience in working in regulated pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry is a bonus
* Competency in Autodesk MEP or REVIT ,Microsoft word, PPT, excel, Project etc
* Good technical report writing skills.
* Good communication skills
* A “hands-on” approach is essential.
* Full driving license, own transport essential
