Onboarding KYC Analyst - 12 month contract (11988) at Investec, Dublin

The Client Onboarding team manages the end-to-end KYC process for clients at Investec Europe Limited, including new business onboarding, periodic reviews, triggered events, and offboarding. The team primarily supports corporate clients across Treasury Risk Solutions and Equities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with Business, ID & Verification, PEP & Sanction Screening, Adverse Media screening, Financial Crime Risk Assessment, and Ownership Validation.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory classifications (MiFID, EMIR, FATCA/CRS, CAR rules).
* Managing multiple priorities with a strong control mindset and seamless handover processes.
* Collaborating with teams across Operations, Legal, Credit, and Risk.
* Conducting accurate and timely KYC for new and existing clients, ensuring data accuracy.
* Analyzing KYC data/documents for risk assessment, escalation, and risk mitigation.
* Performing screening and analyzing results for PEPs, sanctions, and adverse media.
* Applying appropriate processes across different business lines.
* Maintaining open communication to ensure efficient processes and quick turnaround times.
Candidate Profile:
* Understanding of EU AML directives (4th & 5th).
* High IT literacy, proficient with iMeta and CRM.
* Experience with KYC for companies, trusts, funds, SPVs, and analyzing complex structures.
* Knowledge of third-party data providers (Bureau Van Dijk, Dow Jones).
* Experience in financial crime risk assessments and screening.
* Basic financial analysis skills, including understanding balance sheets and financial statements.
* KYC/AML/Financial Crime certification preferred.
* Attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and customer service orientation.
* Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize, and work independently.
* Understanding of Irish regulatory requirements; multilingual ability is a plus.
