The Role: An exciting opportunity to work in a progressive and ambitious team in the Dublin office.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive associate solicitor, ideally with a background in sensitive and complex investigations/healthcare/personal injuries litigation, to join our collegiate and supportive team, which is highly ranked in legal directories.
Assisting a partner and a senior associate on a varied caseload, many of your clients will be charitable organisations, and there is scope for advisory work, particularly in respect of data protection issues and media interest.
You will have significant client contact, together with counsel, the courts and other parties.
In addition, you will advise on a wide variety of issues, including litigation, restorative justice processes and mediation, investigations and inquiries, information law (including confidentiality, privilege and data protection law), vetting legislation and related matters.

Candidate Requirements:1 - 5 years PQE, ideally with experience in some of the above practice areas, with a good knowledge of litigation procedures and practices.
Experience in litigation practice such as attending and conducting settlement talks/mediations, attending court applications, briefing and conducting consultations with counsel.
Experience in legal research, with a focus on analysing case law and statutes to support the resolution of complex legal matters.
Strong legal drafting skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Excellent academics.
Strong client service skills and the organisational ability to manage various responsibilities.
You should feel confident getting up to speed with new cases and managing your time effectively across competing priorities.
The ideal candidate would: Have experience in healthcare/personal injuries litigation, and experience in complex litigation and/or investigations.
Be highly self-motivated and have an ability to manage both their own caseload and work as part of a team in a collaborative setting.
Have the ability to build strong relationships with clients, experts and counsel, alongside internal relationships within the firm.
Have excellent drafting skills demonstrating strong attention to detail.
Good organisational skills are crucial and strong IT skills are also important, with an interest in using technology to drive efficient work practices and to promote innovation in service delivery.
Have excellent communication, negotiation and decision-making skills.
Demonstrates excellent financial discipline and has a proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines.
Be proactive in knowledge development and have a good awareness of current trends and decisions in this practice area.
