Sky Staffing Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Receptionist in Co. Sligo. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and well-organised individual to be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk operation.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, has strong attention to detail, and can multitask in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet guests and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
* Manage check-ins, check-outs, and reservation processes efficiently
* Handle phone, email, and in-person inquiries, providing accurate information
* Process payments and issue invoices or receipts as required
* Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
* Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and guest preferences
* Handle guest feedback or complaints promptly and professionally
* Ensure the front desk and lobby areas remain tidy and welcoming
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in MS Office and reservation systems (training can be provided)
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Well-groomed, with a positive and professional attitude
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
