Job Overview:
The primary objective of this role is to take charge of a department, enhancing existing customer relationships and fostering new ones. The individual will be responsible for managing supplier agreements and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
* Regularly review and analyze the business, implementing strategic plans as agreed upon
* Monitor and improve customer service levels delivered by the team
* Oversee stock management, including daily and emergency orders, new and warranty parts returns
* Analyze and report monthly on department performance against key performance indicators (KPIs)
Key Account Management, Business Development: Travel to customers and prospect premises to identify growth opportunities. Assist in managing departmental/product promotions and participate in company events. Foster strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating agreements and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Prepare annual budgets, managing departmental costs effectively. Collaborate with other departments within the organization, providing support and guidance as needed. Manage employee performance and work standards, administering corrective action and support when necessary. Comply with and enforce organizational policies and procedures. Conduct regular Probation Review meetings for new employees and participate in ongoing employee appraisal processes. Manage day-to-day HR-related tasks, such as holiday approvals and absences. Maintain a safe working environment and high standards of housekeeping. Organize and manage exhibitions and shows, which may include weekends. Identify training and development needs for team members and participate in relevant programs. Undertake additional duties as required.
