Overview
We’re partnering with a global financial services organization to recruit an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a high-performing technology team. This role offers an opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to innovative digital platforms within the equity compensation and investment services space. The role involves full lifecycle software development within an Agile framework, delivering scalable and reliable solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Technical Leads, Architects, QA Engineers, and Developers to deliver impactful features and enhancements across core digital services.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality software solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
* Contribute as an individual developer, writing clean and maintainable code.
* Lead and support test automation efforts, adhering to best practices.
* Enhance CI/CD pipeline performance and AWS infrastructure efficiency.
* Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and senior engineers to influence platform improvements.
* Troubleshoot issues and provide 3rd level support for production environments.
* Develop domain expertise in equity compensation platforms and contribute insights to the team.
Technical Environment / Stack
* Languages/Frameworks: Java (Spring Boot), Angular
* Cloud: AWS
* Containerisation: Kubernetes
* CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins, Git, Terraform (desirable)
* Testing: REST API Test Automation in Java
* Practices: Agile Scrum, TDD, Code Reviews, DevOps
Ideal Candidate Profile
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in software design and development.
* Strong experience with full stack development using Java Spring Boot and Angular.
* Solid understanding of cloud architecture and AWS services.
* Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
* Familiarity with Kubernetes and modern deployment practices.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.
