Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Architectural Quality Assurance Inspector to oversee and verify the quality of architectural works on a large-scale Tool Install semiconductor project in Co. Kildare. The QA Inspector ensures that all Architectural activities are executed in compliance with project specifications, building regulations, and international quality standards. This role is critical in delivering safe, code-compliant and high-quality construction for the client.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect and verify the quality of architectural cleanroom installations, including tool pedestals, pop out enclosures, ceilings, raised metal floors, doors and finishes
* Conduct walkdowns, audits, and inspections at various stages of construction and fit-out
* Review and ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and relevant standards (e.g., Irish Building Regulations, EN standards)
* Audit, review and sign off on installation records, test sheets and handover documentation
* Liaise with Architectural supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to address non-conformances or quality issues
* Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety Authority (HSA) regulations and site safety requirements
* Participate in quality control meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Qualification in Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, or Construction Management; additional certification in Quality Management is advantageous
* Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Architectural QA/QC roles on industrial or large commercial projects; semiconductor experience is a plus
* Excellent knowledge of building regulations, Architectural standards, and best practices
* Experience with Architectural testing procedures and documentation control
* Strong attention to detail and familiarity with quality control systems and procedures (e.g., ISO 9001)
* Competent in reading technical drawings, architectural details, and QA checklists
Desirable:
* Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
* Experience in regulated environments (e.g., semiconductor, pharma, data centres, or cleanroom projects)
* Proficiency with digital QA platforms and reporting tools (e.g., EIDA, BIM 360, or similar)
Working Conditions:
* Site-based role with regular inspections in active construction environments
* All personnel are required to adhere to site rules and always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
