The service was established to address challenges such as farm succession and retirement by providing access to land for young farmers and improving the efficient use of farmland nationwide. It aims to facilitate access to land through advisory, matching, and structured arrangements.
The Land Mobility Service contributes to addressing challenges faced by the Irish agricultural sector and supports the future of Irish farming.
* Identify new revenue streams to enhance the service offering.
* Define, plan, and manage the delivery of collaborative farming agreements across Ireland, both directly and through a team of facilitators.
* Oversee pricing, fee collection, progress tracking, risk management, and issue resolution for consultations and arrangements.
* Manage service governance, including Board updates, financial reporting, and stakeholder communication.
* Oversee the management and reporting of European Innovation Partnership projects investigating alternative farming arrangements.
* Identify and manage programme risks, opportunities, and pathways to expansion.
* Provide leadership and coaching to facilitators, educating them on the service's role to partner organisations.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure programme alignment and success.
Requirements
* Proven experience in managing programmes, ideally in facilitation, accountancy, auctioneering, or legal.
* Knowledge of the Irish farming landscape and associated policies and farm schemes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience managing budgeting and timelines across in-person and remote teams.
* Experience reporting to steering committees or boards.
* Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
A full driving licence and access to personal transport are required.
