Responsibilities
Design, shape, mobilise and lead Data and Analytics consulting engagements end to end, from initial conversations throughout the opportunity and delivery lifecycle.
As a senior team member, shape and manage engagement teams.
Manage and oversee commercial elements of the engagements.
Build, extend and manage client and partner relationships.
Assess data-related strategies and approaches, policies and procedures, technologies and tools against industry best practices, and provide options and recommendations to keep our clients at the forefront of their data capabilities.
Understand and shape EY's service offerings, actively identify and create opportunities to better serve clients across our range of services.
Identify potential new business opportunities for EY to incubate or drive new solutions and services and collaborate with our clients and partners.
Key Practice and People Development Responsibilities
Contribute to definition and implementation of the FSO data strategy, aligning with the FSO Consulting business objectives and roadmap, and supporting the work pipeline.
Lead diverse teams with varying skillsets, who use a broad selection of Data and Analytics technologies.
Adapt leadership style to fit team, client, and cultural needs.
Anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate.
Contribute to expanding our brand in the market as industry leaders by attending relevant events, collaborating with other teams, presenting points of view and thought leadership, etc.
Act as a subject matter expert in the relevant field of data, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices, and sharing knowledge within the firm and the broader professional community.
Participate in business development activities including client presentations and proposals.
Drive our thought leadership agenda by maintaining an up-to-date point of view on methodologies, technologies, and trends for publishing as points of view or proof of concept.

Qualifications
Relevant experience in technology consulting with a blue-chip consulting firm, with significant management track record and financial industry knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise and develop others, effectively communicate, manage budgets, timelines, and plans, manage client expectations, deliver quality projects.
Significant client relationship management skills, gained through prior consulting roles or within large financial services / technology organisations.
Exceptional verbal and written communication and problem solving skills.
Proven track record in relevant management and leadership roles in data centric projects and engagements in consulting industry.
Experience in delivering successful technology change outcomes, on time and to budget.
Applied knowledge of modern delivery approaches e.g., Agile.
Proven expertise in one or more relevant Data and Analytics domains: Data Strategy and Strategic Delivery, Data Architecture and Engineering, Data Management and Regulatory Reporting.
Experience working in the financial services industry in Ireland and/ or UK, leading Data and Analytics change projects in Finance, Risk or Regulatory.
Prior experience in leading data elements of significant Finance, Risk and Regulatory Reporting change programmes in the banking sector (e.g., IFRS9, IRB, BCBS239, CCR, Finrep, Corep, PRA110, Basel III/ IV).
A completed degree (Bachelors, Masters, or PhD); with relevant industry certification such as Prince2, PMP, SAFe, Scrum etc.
Familiarity with End to End data delivery lifecycle, Data Models, Data Architecture and Data Management concepts in financial services.
Experience and qualifications are advantageous
Experience in Financial Services in Ireland or UK.
DAMA or DCAM certifications.
Relevant Data Engineering or Data Management certifications.
Delivery of data projects reliant on Teradata on premise architecture.
Project delivery credentials, e.g. project management or agile delivery certification are an advantage.
Prior knowledge of NoSQL database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j).
Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty.
Growth and continuous learning mindset.
Management of MI/BI reports or preparation and delivery of regulatory reports as a bonus.
