This full-time position spans both leadership and hands-on responsibilities, focusing on maintaining quality, improving cost-effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire the kitchen brigade while acting as a role model in food production and presentation.
* Contribute insights and creativity to the menu planning process.
* Maintain rigorous operational hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen.
* Collaborate with the Executive Chef to achieve desired profitability and meet budgetary expectations.
* Foster excellent relationships with the restaurant management team and other department heads to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in 4-star or higher hotel kitchens or upscale restaurants.
* A bachelor’s degree in hospitality or culinary arts is preferred but not essential.
* Strong track record of enhancing guest satisfaction and managing a high-performing team.
