NOLCIV Engineering is looking to onboard a full time Site Engineer with minimum 2-3 years experience working with a main contractor in UK or Ireland for projects based across the South East of Ireland, with all projects based in Carlow & Wexford for the next 18 months. Local Authorities works including Active travel Schemes & Landfill projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily Setting out, infrastructure, and site works in line with architectural and engineering drawings.
* Assist the Site Manager with daily construction activities and site coordination.
* Carry out quality checks and maintain accurate records throughout the project.
* Monitor works to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
* Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider site team.
* Report on progress, issues, and technical matters as required.
* Support the development of as-built drawings and handover documentation.
* Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of finish.
Requirements
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
* Previous experience in setting out on civils projects using Leica & Trimble equipment.
* Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and standards.
* Clear communication skills and ability to work as part of a busy site team.
* Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving.
