We're partnered with a globally known medical devices/Pharma company and they're seeking a DevOps Cloud Engineer to join them on a hybrid model in the beautiful city of Limerick in Ireland on a long term freelance contract.
The initial contract would be for 12 months, however you should fully expect extensions here as this is a very large scale project.
You will be required onsite twice per week during ramp up, and then there will be a lot of flexibility in remote working for the remainder of the contract.
As a DevOps Cloud Engineer, you will be focused on the rollout of a revolutionary cloud-based Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across our client's global pharmaceutical sites (amongst numerous other tasks).
Required skills:
* Strong Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) experience, both administration and application deployment.
* DevOps and associated tools such as ArgoCD.
* Technical Kubernetes experience in networking, security, scalability, and monitoring.
* Core Kubernetes technical skills such as kubectl, ingress, helm, Prometheus, Grafana.
* DevOps tools experience Chef, Terraform, Jenkins, Powershell, Groovy, Python.
Desired skills:
* SDLC background or experience.
* Remote Desktop Service Administration (incl. RemoteApp).
* API and web services, either/both implementation and integration experience.
* Shop floor manufacturing technology experience, such as MES, Historian, SCADA.
* Experience with other cloud providers.
