Software Development Manager, Lambda Experience

AWS Lambda, at the heart of the Serverless movement, is a fast growing service that is becoming the default compute infrastructure for a wide range of applications.
We are looking for a proven leader to help lead teams of exceptional software engineers to tackle some of the hardest problems at global scale. You will deliver highly operable and maintainable software on time, set relentlessly high standards, drive engineering best practices and continuously improve systems.

Basic Qualifications
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
Experience in engineering team management.
Experience in engineering.
Experience leading the definition and development of multi‑tier web services.
Experience partnering with product and program management teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience communicating with users, technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs and product strategy.
Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and effectiveness.
