We are now looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team and help lead the delivery of complex brand and marketing programmes. This is a client-facing role for someone who enjoys working with serious businesses, complex products, and smart technical people, and who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver thoughtful, high-quality, valuable marketing work.
This role comes at an important stage in Maverick’s development. We are evolving from a strong Irish client base toward a broader international portfolio, working with larger industrial and manufacturing companies across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and North America.
The Role
This is a delivery-led account leadership role for someone with a strong understanding of brand, communications, and marketing.
Many new client relationships begin with significant programmes such as rebrands, new international websites, messaging frameworks, photography programmes, and brand communications development. These programmes typically run for six to twelve months and are then followed by ongoing marketing work, including content, campaigns, and brand development.
The Senior Account Manager plays a central role in moving these programmes forward. You will help clients navigate projects, coordinate Maverick’s internal teams, and ensure the thinking and output remain aligned with the client's needs throughout.
The role is supported closely by Maverick’s founder and Head of Strategy, along with our Communications Director, Creative Director, Technical Director, and specialist teams. While you will not be expected to originate strategy independently, you will need to understand it well and help steward it across the work.

What You’ll Do
Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, from marketing and sales leaders to CEOs and subject matter experts
Coordinate complex brand, website and marketing programmes from kick-off through to delivery
Help shape scopes of work, timings and budgets in collaboration with senior colleagues
Present plans, proposals, progress and recommendations clearly to clients
Work closely with strategy, communications, creative, technical and campaign teams to move projects forward
Ensure messaging, creative, content, photography, digital work, websites and campaigns are aligned and right for the client
Manage priorities, actions, timelines and next steps across multiple projects
Help identify opportunities to grow and deepen client accounts over time

You do not need to come from a purely industrial background, but you should have a real interest in engineering, manufacturing, technical products and how things are made. People who find this world engaging tend to get a lot of satisfaction from the work.
You’ll Likely Bring
Strong experience in an agency account management role
Experience managing complex client programmes involving multiple disciplines
Experience in planning and delivering website projects as part of wider brand or marketing programmes
Sound knowledge of brand, communications, and marketing
The ability to guide clients and ensure work stays aligned across strategy, messaging, creative, websites, and campaigns
Confidence in managing multiple stakeholders and keeping projects moving forward
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A calm, dependable, and practical approach
B2B experience, ideally with technical, industrial, manufacturing, or engineering-focused clients
Working Model
Maverick operates a flexible hybrid working model. Time spent in the office depends on the employee’s location, personal preferences, and the work underway at any particular time. Much of the work can be done remotely, but all team members must be able to come to the office when required for specific projects, workshops, or collaborative working sessions.
This role is open to candidates based in Ireland and the UK.
Candidates based in the UK should be located within approximately one hour of an airport with a direct flight to Shannon Airport, enabling practical travel when required. Examples include airports such as London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Bristol.
Maverick’s offices are located within a 40-minute taxi journey from Shannon Airport, making travel straightforward for visiting team members and international clients.
