About the Company
Crewit Resourcing is seeking experienced
Civil Engineers / Surveyors
to join our client, an established Irish surveying company known for delivering high‑accuracy land, engineering, and construction surveying services, specializing in topographical surveys, drone surveys, setting‑out, underground utility mapping, 3D laser scanning, and BIM support.
Responsibilities
* Conduct topographical surveys of land and buildings.
* Perform aerial drone surveys for remote or inaccessible sites.
* Carry out setting‑out for construction of structures, utilities, and infrastructure.
* Execute underground utility mapping to locate services safely before construction.
* Use 3D laser scanning technology to deliver accurate digital measurements.
* Validate site levels, alignments, and dimensions during construction works.
* Process survey data using CAD, Civil 3D, or other surveying software.
* Produce drawings, digital terrain models (DTMs), point clouds, and survey reports.
* Maintain structured records and accurate survey documentation.
* Identify design‑to‑site discrepancies and report findings to project teams.
* Comply with Irish industry standards and ASL Surveying's internal procedures.
* Perform quality checks on measurements, equipment, and data outputs.
* Follow all site health & safety requirements at all times.
* Collaborate with engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients.
* Attend site meetings and provide clear technical feedback.
* Represent Crewit Resourcing and ASL Surveying professionally on-site.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Geomatics, or equivalent.
* 5+ years' experience in surveying or civil engineering fieldwork.
* Strong experience with GPS, total stations, and survey instrumentation.
* CAD or Civil 3D proficiency.
* Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
* Full clean driving licence.
Desirable
* Drone surveying experience (with appropriate certification).
* Knowledge of BIM workflows.
* Experience with Irish construction and utility regulations.
* Professional membership (SCSI, IEI, RICS, etc.).
