Project Manager Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery of projects, managing a large staff and ensuring that client requirements are met whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and environmental performance.
About the Role
* Overall responsibility for the management of one of the large-scale sites reporting directly to the Construction Director.
* Responsible for the overall delivery of the project, managing a large staff and ensuring that client requirements are met.
* Ensure works are carried out to the required quality, health and safety, and environmental standards in full compliance with the planning permission.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparation of the project execution plan including contracting strategy, programme, budget, and risks mitigation plan.
2. Management of the project budget and contract administration in conjunction with the project quantity surveyor.
3. Liaison with planning/development team to ensure project value-engineered during the pre-construction stage.
4. Management of the project design team during construction to ensure coordination of information flow to the site teams.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a minimum 10 years' experience working on large-scale complex projects with multiple phased handovers.
Degree or higher diploma qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, construction management or equivalent.
