Job Description:
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for on-site installation, service, maintenance, validation, upgrade, calibration, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
Frequent travel to customer sites is required to resolve problems or provide support to other field service personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Fault finding, service, and repair of Medical Equipment
2. Updating the service and repair system
3. Coordinating with procurement team for spare parts requisitioning
4. Attending training courses and refresher training as needed
5. Reviewing process and equipment maintenance documentation and SOPs when necessary
6. Ensuring compliance with company, EHS & regulatory requirements
7. Participating in Cross-Functional teams when required
8. Providing troubleshooting and repair support for customers and other field service personnel
9. Conducting on-site installation of complex equipment and following testing procedures to ensure proper working order
10. Completing and submitting field service reports
11. Providing training for customers and users on system maintenance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in servicing equipment (preferably Medical or Scientific)
* Third Level University Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating complex equipment
* Full clean driver's license
