As an internal sales executive you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with external partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.Key responsibilitiesManage enquires on a day-to-day basis in relation to quotes, orders and stock availability utilising company specific ERP system.Manage customer list. Follow up with previous and existing customers.Working towards deadlines to keep customer satisfaction high and manage expectations.Aiming to extend customer base.Management of counter sales and aiming closely to achieve margins.Management of CRM – logging quotes, notes, and future sales onto the calendar.Where and when appropriate seek to influence clients to consider the best technical solution with broader commercial objectives.Management of complex situations and resolving issues.A strong point of contact for queries and complaints.Work closely with external partners as well as the internal sales teamManage full sales cycle from quote generation to full closure.Communication across departments to ensure service delivery for all customers.Education, Training & ExperienceLeaving Certificate, with higher level education desirable.Experience in the construction industry and advantage.Experience working with or for architects / engineers / specialist contractors a distinct advantage.Ability to read constructions drawings along with an understanding of construction tender and specification documentation an advantage.Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 beneficial.PC literate with competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel) Outlook.CompetenciesAbility to multitask.People person – building that relationship with the customer and colleagues.Strong positive communication.Have previous internal and external sales experience.Product knowledge - beneficialQuick learner and strong sales deliverance.Honesty and Integrity.Confident & Resilient.Have a positive attitude and a flexible approach.Be a team player and share the workload evenly.High attention to detail.Practical thinking.Commercial awarenessTechnically astute
