On behalf of an international financial services firm in Dublin city centre, we are looking to hire a Financial Reporting Manager.
This is a hands -on reporting role with ownership of month -end close, statutory accounts and delivery of insightful MI to senior stakeholders. You will work with global finance teams, auditors and regulators to ensure accurate, timely and fully compliant reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and own the month -end financial close for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting.
* Prepare and review statutory accounts and coordinate with external auditors.
* Assist with FINREP and other regulatory reporting on occasion; ensuring CRR/CRD compliance.
* Deliver management information (MI) for senior management, including ECL and variance analysis.
* Support implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory changes (IFRS / FRS 102).
* Maintain and strengthen internal controls and governance across reporting processes.
Qualifications:
o Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3+ years PQE.
o Solid, demonstrable experience in financial and/or regulatory reporting within banking or financial services.
o Knowledge of FINREP and the CRR/CRD framework (desirable, not essential)
o Strong technical accounting experience (IFRS and FRS 102); statutory reporting experience essential.
o Excellent communicator — comfortable presenting complex issues to senior stakeholders.
o Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
