Purchasing Strategist
This is a key role within the steel manufacturing and site installation operations. As a Purchasing Strategist, you will lead our longer-term procurement requirements and enhance our purchasing processes.
Our goal is to ensure effective and seamless steel production and installation while focusing on long-term value, risk management, and supply chain resilience.
Key Duties:
* Develop and implement robust strategic purchasing systems aligned with production schedules;
* Negotiate contracts to secure competitive pricing from suppliers for raw materials needed in the production of steel products.
* Maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders including Production Managers to manage orders against specifications. Manage purchase orders according to priority levels ensuring that deadlines are met.
