Job Description Sales Development Manager / Beauty Area Manager Field-based role | Covering ROI Northern Ireland Head Office: Dublin (South William Street) We are currently partnering with a leading premium beauty brand to recruit a confident, dynamic, and commercially driven Sales Development Manager / Beauty Area Manager to join their Ireland field team.
This role will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing high-performing teams, and delivering brand excellence across approximately 15 stores throughout ROI and Northern Ireland.
You will lead by example, maximising all sales opportunities within your area by coaching and developing Account Managers and Beauty Consultants, while working closely with senior regional stakeholders, Training, Marketing, and Head Office teams.

This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role combining commercial analysis, people management, and strategic execution .
You will play a key role in new store openings, talent development, and strengthening relationships with retail partners — ensuring brand standards and philosophy are consistently delivered in-store Key Responsibilities Retail Sales Performance Agree retail sales targets for each store with Account Managers Monitor and analyse weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales against forecasts Analyse new product performance and ensure all commercial opportunities are maximised Review productivity and ensure training practices are consistently applied across teams Training Development Identify training needs across the area and liaise with senior regional stakeholders and training teams where additional support is required Drive area performance through continuous coaching and development of Account Managers and Beauty Consultants Ensure all team members complete regular Store Visit Forms with clear, measurable objectives Networking Retail Partnerships Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners Ensure alignment on shared goals, best practice, and in-store execution Maximise retailer support and collaboration in the field New Store Openings Partner with Marketing to ensure all new stores are fully supported Agree FTE requirements with senior management and recruit in a timely manner Meet with new store management ahead of openings to present the brand and philosophy Ensure the New Store Opening Checklist and critical path are followed, with particular focus on recruitment and readiness Communication Hold quarterly meetings with Account Managers to embed processes and best practice Maintain regular communication with senior regional stakeholders, sharing progress, challenges, and achievements Liaise closely with the wider field team and Head Office to ensure clear and consistent communication Budget Management Ensure all retail-related expenditure remains within agreed budgets Candidate Profile Experience Qualifications Minimum 5 years' commercial retail experience (beauty or premium retail preferred) Proven people management and coaching experience Strong commercial awareness and business acumen Working knowledge of employment law Confident using Excel (intermediate level) and reporting tools Key Skills Excellent communication and influencing skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability High attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Strong planning, organisation, and negotiation skills Proven ability to motivate, lead, and develop high-performing teams Package Benefits Salary: €48,000 – €54,000 Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus (no commission) Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 per week Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 9:00–5:30pm (some weekend work required) Probation: 6 months Start Date: ASAP To find out more information on this new exciting role, then get in touch today with Katie on *********** / Send your CV to ****** #retailcareer
