We are recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join our team.
This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and well-presented operation of all internal and external areas across the property. The Maintenance Operative will work closely with the Engineering team to support a high-quality guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks
* Submit requests to reorder supplies and spare parts as required to the Manager
* Assist in performing a preventive maintenance programme
* Maintain equipment, tools, and machinery in good working order
* Submit reports to the Engineering Manager on the condition of buildings and equipment
* Assist in performing emergency work regarding fire, water, electricity, and other essential services
* Maintain a high standard of work while performing duties and responsibilities
* Follow all company procedures and policies and cooperate in maintaining them
* Monitor the aesthetics and ensure the upkeep and immaculate appearance of the hotel
* Basic IT skills required
* Safe Pass ideally (training provided)
