Senior Project Manager Permanent Kildare HybridWhat’s involved:Lead renewable energy projects through planning, commercialisation, construction, commissioning, and operation, coordinating across functional teams within a matrix structure.Collaborate with PMO operations and functional leads to procure construction contracts, negotiate long-term offtake agreements, and secure project financing, while monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.Finalise planning consents, permits, and statutory approvals, ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental, and grid requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, regulators, technology suppliers, and community partners.Analyse and manage project risks, prepare investment approval documentation, and oversee operational handover to integrate projects with ongoing portfolio management.Provide timely, transparent project reporting to the PMO, maintain governance standards, and contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned.Champion health, safety, and welfare practices, and actively participate in performance management processes.What you need:Minimum 10 years’ experience in large-scale energy or infrastructure project delivery, with at least 5 years in a project management role within the energy sector.Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) desirable.Strong commercial acumen, including experience in budget control, procurement, contract management, and resource optimisation.In-depth knowledge of regulatory, grid, and planning frameworks relevant to energy infrastructure in Ireland.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and deliver projects in multi-stakeholder environments.Expertise in project management principles, with the ability to manage large-scale energy projects through development and construction using lean, outsourced project management structures.Must hold a valid Right to work in Ireland/EU Passport.Vantage Resources is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse working environment by recruiting people from different backgrounds and cultures.
