Fastway is seeking a driven, focused, and experienced Warehouse General Operative to join their busy team in Ballyhaunis. The desired candidate for this Warehouse General Operative role will have worked within a logistics/warehouse business previously.The successful candidates will be based in our Ballyhaunis Depot, Devlis, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo F35 YV61Responsibilities of this Warehouse General Operative job:Sort Freight by locationEnsure all freight handled is scannedLift and shift all materials where requiredAssist existing warehouse team where neededBe self-motivatedChecking for damaged parcelsResponsible for general warehouse dutiesResponsible to maintain accuracy throughout all processesUnloading of vans in the evening and assisting drivers with the sortation of freight to the correct locations.Accurate scanning of all freight during the evening shift.Maintain clean warehouse and working areas at all times.Monitoring of all problem freight within the depot.Monitoring of our internal systems.Carry out evening debrief with all drivers.Key Skills:Fluency in English.Good communication skills.The ability to work off of their own initiative.Proficiency in computers and applications. i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel.....Previous logistic experience.Counterbalance Forklift experience is a mustJob Types:Permanent, Full TimeSchedule:Monday to Friday11am - 8pmSalary€13.50 per hourLicence/Certification:Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Certificate (required)
