About the Role
As Accounting Manager, you'll take ownership of client relationships while guiding a talented team.
This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on mentoring and developing people, ensuring high-quality delivery across management accounts, compliance, and advisory projects.
Onsite presence is key, with five days in the office preferred to foster collaboration and team growth.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team delivering accounting and advisory services to SME clients.
Oversee preparation of management accounts, statutory filings, and compliance requirements.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions to support their business goals.
Drive process improvements and contribute to the firm's growth strategy.
Support team development through coaching, training, and performance management.
About the Person
You're a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge and proven leadership experience.
A background in practice and exposure to SME clients is ideal.
You bring excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to inspire and guide a team.
A proactive approach and commitment to delivering exceptional client service will set you apart.
