Join our dedicated team at our renowned four-star castle hotel, where tradition meets excellence.
We are currently seeking a Night Porter to ensure a warm welcome for our guests, uphold safety standards, and provide seamless overnight service in line with the high standards of our historic property.
Key Responsibilities Greet and assist guests on arrival and departure, including handling luggage.
Complete late-night check-ins in line with hotel policies and procedures.
Answer telephone calls professionally, take accurate messages, and communicate them promptly.
Provide light food and beverage service to residents and their guests.
Ensure accurate accounting of all night-time transactions and cash handling.
Perform regular security patrols focusing on guest safety, fire safety, and building security.
Carry out cleaning duties in public areas, toilets, and bars as per the nightly checklist.
Complete and record safety checks via Logit; report any safety issues immediately.
Assist with early breakfast service and dining room setup.
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
Provide support to colleagues by completing additional cleaning or prep tasks during quieter periods.
Communicate hotel services and information clearly to guests.
What We're Looking For A professional, courteous individual with excellent communication skills.
Previous experience in hospitality or security is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit night team.
Proactive and willing to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues.
