CPL are looking to hire a Staff Officer to join a Care unit team based in Thurles Co.
Tipperary This is a key position that combines both **managerial** and **administrative** responsibilities, ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality services within a person-centred environment.
Responsibilities Ensure the efficient management and administration of the assigned area.
Meet deadlines and maintain high service standards.
Maintain accurate, confidential, and accessible records and archives.
Keep line management informed of emerging issues.
Ensure stakeholders are kept updated and their views communicated appropriately.
Provide administrative support for meetings and attend as required.
Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience of financial processes (e.g., cash books, accounts).
Apply financial understanding to support effective decision-making in varied contexts.
Promote and maintain a customer-focused environment.
Ensure service users are consistently treated with dignity and respect.
Manage staff performance and address underperformance constructively and promptly.
Allocate workload fairly, taking account of leave and resourcing needs.
Supervise, support, and ensure the wellbeing of team members.
Foster a positive working environment and strong working relationships.
Promote cooperation across teams and disciplines.
Conduct regular staff meetings to share information and gather feedback.
Identify and support staff training and development needs.
