The Imperial Hotel Dundalk is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef with experience working with wood-fired ovens. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing authentic pizzas using fresh ingredients and traditional methods.Key Responsibilities:Prepare high-quality pizzas using a wood-fired oven, ensuring consistency in taste and presentationMake fresh dough daily and manage proofing, stretching, and topping preparationMaintain a clean and organised pizza station, following HACCP and food safety standardsMonitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredientsWork closely with the kitchen team and Head Chef to contribute to menu ideas and seasonal specialsMaintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food presentation at all timesCommunicate effectively in English with team members and, when needed, guestsRequirements:Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pizza Chef, preferably with wood-fired ovensStrong understanding of traditional pizza preparation techniquesAbility to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detailGood level of spoken EnglishHACCP knowledge or certification (preferred)Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidaysJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeBenefits:Food allowanceOn-site parkingWork authorisation:Ireland (preferred)Location:Townparks, Dundalk, CO.
