Purpose:
Coordinate with project management and other departments to carry out day-to-day quality services on projects. Collaborate with the tendering team to secure projects globally, ensuring all risks are highlighted and specifications requirements of end clients are met or exceeded.
Responsibilities:
* Evaluate quotations from different suppliers and subcontractors, verifying quantities and specifications align with tender and project specifications.
* Prepare payment applications and agree with clients.
* Prepare variations on a project, submitting them with supporting data for a positive outcome.
* Ensure successful outcomes for tendered projects and build relationships with clients' commercial and project teams.
* Perform material take-offs before purchasing requisitions for projects and report any irregularities.
* Maintain up-to-date tracking database templates as required.
* Examine, control, and evaluate subcontractors' invoices, ensuring contractual obligations are satisfied, and advise project management on payments.
* Identify changes from AFC and Tender drawings.
* Prepare final accounts.
* Provide regular project performance data reports to management to ensure profitability is maintained.
* Comply with company QEHS Management System requirements, performing work according to process documents, procedures, and maintaining document information/completing forms/records as required.
* Apply QEHS policies in all aspects of work.
* Contribute towards achieving company objectives relevant to your work.
Requirements:
* 2+ years experience in QS role
* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline
* HVAC or mechanical experience
* Knowledge of building up BOQ & Model Dumping desirable
