We are seeking an experienced
Utilities Engineer
for a contract role to support the design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing management of essential utility systems within a cutting-edge pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will help ensure the reliable operation of site services while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and quality standards. This position plays a vital role in delivering utility engineering support across HVAC, clean utilities, and wider building services systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the design, installation, and commissioning of utility systems across the site.
* Ensure reliable and compliant operation of all site utilities in line with pharmaceutical industry standards.
* Review and assess design documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
* Liaise with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to support project and operational needs.
* Oversee system maintenance activities to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
* Provide technical support for projects involving HVAC, clean utilities, and building services.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience working in utilities, facilities, or building services engineering within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, clean utilities, and process support systems.
* Solid understanding of facility operations, safety requirements, and compliance standards.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Process, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
