Job Title: Leisure Centre Attendant
Reports To: Leisure Centre Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Leisure Centre and Pool Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness with a proven track record in managing and maintaining Pool Plant and operations in a Leisure Centre. You will work as part of an established team and be responsible for operating the Leisure Centre and facilities in Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny, and providing a warm welcoming experience for both the Hotel's guests and Leisure centre members.
Job Summary:
The Leisure Centre Attendant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the leisure centre, including the swimming pool. This role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance, ensuring health and safety standards and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations
· Oversee the daily operations of the leisure centre and pool, ensuring all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
· Follow and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
· Monitor the usage and condition of equipment, advising the Manager of repairs and maintenance required as necessary.
· Monitor the daily operation of the pool plant, including filtration, heating, chemical dosing, and circulation systems.
· Monitor and maintain water quality in compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Conduct regular water tests, including pH, chlorine, and other chemical levels, adjusting as necessary.
2. Customer Service
· Enhance the customer experience by maintaining high service standards and addressing customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively in a friendly and approachable manner
· Deliver programmes, classes, and events to meet the needs and interests of the the leisure centre membership base.
· Promote membership sales and retention through exceptional customer service and engagement initiatives.
· Creative and trend analysis of Classes, keeping a varied and stimulating class experience for customers
Qualifications:
Essential:
· Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a leisure centre, swimming pool, or similar facility.
· Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to leisure and aquatic facilities.

Working Conditions:
· This position will require working morning shifts, evening shifts, weekend shifts, and public holiday shifts based on business and roster requirements.
