Chase Resourcing are recruiting for an for our Client in Qatar.

The successful candidate willwork closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard of care, which encompasses occupational therapy assessment, intervention and management of Guest-clients experiencing substance-related and addictive disorders and co-morbid conditions.

THE CLIENT

Our Client is a ground breaking new Sanctuary for wellness and treatment of behavioural disorders whichdelivers care with exceptional hospitality services across 127 residential rooms together with clinics and over 50 individual and group treatment / therapy rooms. It is the first of its kind in the GCC region.

The project includes Residential and non-residential Programs, Assessment Services, and Awareness Programs.

THE ROLE

* To provide high quality expert occupational therapy clinical care; planning, designing and facilitating a rehabilitation program and/or schedule of activities with individuals and groups in collaboration with colleagues.
* Toflexibly manage a varied caseload of both residential and ambulatory care with complex needs, using evidence based client centred principles.
* To work as part of a team to ensure effective communication and delivery of care.
* Participate in occupational therapy in-service development.
* To participate in naufar service improvement initiatives.
* Assist in the teaching of other multidisciplinary team members, clinical and non-clinical staff, and others to promote understanding of applied occupational therapy to enhance Guest-client recovery.
* Perform any other work-related tasks or activities within scope of practice and agree competencies as directed by the ‘direct supervisor’

REQUIREMENTS

* Arabic speaking is an essential requirement.
* A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy is essential.
* Licensed as an Occupational Therapist inhome country is essential.
* Up-to date CPD in relevant areas is essential.
* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject area is desirable .
* At least 5 years clinical experience is essential.
* Multidisciplinary experience in mental health is essential.
* Other specialist experience e.g. commissioning, opening, practice guideline development, teaching is desirable.
