Job Title: HGV Mechanic
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including the overhaul of transmission, axle, and driveline products, as well as maintaining, repairing, and servicing HGV PSV & O/H vehicles.
* Key duties will include chassis diagnostics and repair, both in-house and off-site, with a focus on adhering to OEM standard guide times.
* The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be able to work without supervision, and possess a reliable approach to their work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:
* A recognised mechanical apprenticeship is essential.
* Computer literacy is also required, with experience in electrics and computer-based diagnostics work preferred.
* In addition, applicants must hold a full clean driving license and be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
