Description
- Act as a quality advocate partnering with business and technical teams to develop comprehensive test plans for large cross-functional systems projects and programs, with a focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Inspire teams to pursue excellence despite competing priorities and pressures.
- Effectively lead meetings ranging from 2 to over 60 participants, communicating clear actions.
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation for test preparation and execution.
- Proactively assess risks (technological, organizational, political) and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Seek expertise and involve relevant specialists to achieve optimal testing outcomes.
- Drive scheduling, planning meetings, and activities for UAT preparation and execution.
- Facilitate identification of test scenarios and ensure requirements traceability.
- Promote healthy debate and understand multiple perspectives.
- Estimate resource needs for testing and ensure realistic planning.
- Ensure availability of test environments and data to support testing activities.
- Use analytical skills to investigate issues found during UAT and drive resolution.
- Report progress and issues to project teams and management.
- Approach problems flexibly, adapting methods as needed without compromising outcomes.
- Participate in testing transformation initiatives by driving innovative approaches and methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications
* Extensive experience leading testing/QA, especially in planning and managing cross-functional testing efforts.
* Experience with various testing methodologies and fostering a quality-focused mindset.
* Proven ability to establish QA program structures for optimal ROI and coordinate cross-project initiatives.
* Ability to develop technical expertise and understand system interdependencies affecting testing plans.
* Experience with system and software architecture models.
* Skill in abstracting technical details and communicating effectively across different audiences.
* Proficient in managing multiple efforts simultaneously.
* Excellent listening, communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal partners.
* Flexible thinking, curiosity, self-motivation, dedication to quality, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
* Capability to navigate ambiguity and clarify objectives and execution plans.
Preferred Qualifications
* SAP functional experience, especially with migration from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA.
* Experience with sales testing, insurance providers, external partners, including 3PL & OEMs.
* Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
* Quality assurance certifications (ISTQB, ASQ, etc.) and/or PMI certification are highly desirable.
