Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Dublin
Scope of Work: A new role in this newly established design team within a leading engineering services business that will deliver drawings and design work for renewable energy, HV / MV substation and cables projects across Ireland.

Turner Lovell is recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading, highly innovative, multi-national engineering services company in Ireland. This is a brilliant opportunity for the right individual to join a well established, highly regarded business that is experiencing growth through their success in the market. This role is based in Dublin, and there is a hybrid working model available of 1-2 days per week working from home once established in the role.
Responsibilities
* Produce drawings: SLDs, layouts, schematics.
* Detailed design covering all aspects of high & medium voltage equipment.
* Preparation and interpretation of technical specifications and enquiry documentation.
* Ensure compliance with design standards and client requirements.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Assist with the preparation of technical and contract documentation for issue.
* Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports.
* Prepare method statements and risk assessments.
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Experience working as an Electrical Engineer on a substation project.
* Computer literate and proficient in ETAP, AutoCAD or similar
* Good technical capabilities, teamwork abilities and initiative.
* Strong written, oral and numeracy skills.
