Senior Physiotherapist Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our dynamic disability service in East Limerick Children's Services. Our team provides clinical supports and residential services to children with complex disability needs and their families.
About the Service
Our service is based on a family-centred practice model, working in partnership with families to support children and young people (ages 0-18) with complex needs. We have excellent access to supervision, training, and professional supports.
Key Responsibilities
* Working as part of a team serving children and young people with complex needs
* Providing physiotherapy assessments, interventions, and programs for children and young people
* Collaborating with other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Engaging with families to provide education and support
Requirements
* A recognised degree in Physiotherapy from a reputable institution
* Registration with CORU as a Physiotherapist
* Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland
* A full clean driving licence and access to a car
* A minimum of 3 years experience working with children with disabilities and complex needs
* At least 1 year of experience in a paediatric disability setting
Desirable Skills
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
* Effective caseload management, planning, and time management abilities
* Capacity to work independently and take initiative
* Familiarity with Level 2 behavioural competencies outlined in the relevant competency framework
